What is the QlikView Modules Template?
The Qlikview Modules template exists out of a set of modules to build a qlikview app. You may see a module as a combination of a setup script, frontend objects and excel templates which you'll use to speed up qlikview development work. There are Business user modules like the "Business user help module", "Navigation & filters module", "KPI Module" or the "AdHoc table module" which add app features that a business user will use in the frontend of the app and there are Developer modules like the "Key Check Module", "Advanced Data Discovery Module", "Color management module", "Dynamic Data Model" or "Documentation module" which a developer can use during the development phase of the qlikview project.
Why use QlikView Modules?
The process of creating a QlikView app looks similar in each QlikView project. You can divide this process in separate work blocks. For each of these blocks a module is available in the QlikView Modules template. Instead of wasting time on tweaking the many qlikview properties, using the modules you can now add app features in a matter of minutes and focus on creating business value.
What you should know?
You need to have a basic understanding about Qlikview app development before you can start working with the QlikView Modules template. You need to know how to write basic expressions and script statements.
